Westenergie Sponsors Raversbeuren Speed System

The local community of Raversbeuren is now ensuring greater safety on the roads with the help of Westenergie AG. The topic of road safety is an important building block for increasing safety on the roads. The infrastructure provider, Westenergie, is therefore supporting the local community financially in this project by purchasing a new speed measuring system. Speed measuring system The system installed is intended to better protect pedestrians, especially children The system is located near the playground, on the main road. The speed measuring system not only shows drivers the speed, but also lights up green when they are driving within the prescribed speed limit.  However, if the speed is displayed in red, this is a signal for drivers to take their foot off the gas and drive more slowly. The system installed is intended to better protect pedestrians, and especially children, from dangerous situations in traffic in the future.
