The municipality of Eslohe, together with the Koenig'sche Stiftung and Westenergie, has successfully applied for funding to build a fast-charging station in the center of Eslohe: For around 90,000 euros, a corresponding hypercharger has now been built directly at the bus station, where electric vehicles with a total output of 200 kW can be charged in the shortest possible time.

All challenges were successfully overcome on the way from the application for funding to the commissioning last week. "I am very pleased that our joint efforts have now borne fruit and that the municipality of Eslohe can provide its citizens and of course its visitors with its first own public fast charging station," says Mayor Stephan Kersting.
In the first step, the Alpitronic brand Hypercharger will provide a total output of 200 kW at two charging points. "In the future, we will upgrade the network so that 400 kW of power can also be made available in the future," says Stefan Lange, municipal manager at Westenergie AG. The Hypercharger at the bus station is now available for public use.
