Lawrence Chen Joins Arrow Electronics' Board Of Directors

Arrow Electronics, Inc. announced that Lawrence (Liren) Chen has joined the company’s Board of Directors and has been appointed a Member of the Board’s Audit Committee. The addition of Lawrence Chen will increase the total number of Directors on the Board to 10. Lawrence (Liren) Chen Lawrence Chen is President, Chief Executive Officer, and a Member of the Board of Directors of InterDigital, Inc., a global research and development company focused primarily on wireless, video, artificial intelligence, and related technologies. Before joining InterDigital, Chen served in roles of increasing responsibility at Qualcomm Inc. for nearly 25 years, culminating in his appointment as Senior Vice President, Global Head of IP, and Legal Counsel. In that role, Mr. Chen oversaw Qualcomm’s global intellectual property portfolio and led technology, business strategy, product management, and global eco-system development for Qualcomm Technology Licensing. Chen is a Member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce China Advisory Committee and a Member of the Council for Inclusive Innovation of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Arrow Electronics Partners With Equinix For Cloud Solutions

Global technology provider Arrow Electronics announced a new distribution agreement with digital infrastructure company Equinix. This strategic collaboration will enable Arrow channel partners to resell Equinix services as part of integrated solutions aimed at network optimization, hybrid multi-cloud enablement, and enhanced application workload performance. They can now position and invoice Equinix services on a monthly recurring basis. Arrow Electronics Adds Truesense Ultra-Wideband Portfolio For Precise Location Technology

Arrow Electronics has announced a global distribution agreement with Truesense, a globally renowned company in edge AI, software algorithms and Ultra-WideBand (UWB) radar and ranging technology, to distribute Truesense modules, development kits and software. The agreement lets Arrow’s customers accelerate new product designs by leveraging Truesense UWB modules for roles such as communication, ranging and localization, real-time location, asset tracking, gesture detection, access control, and environmental sensing.
