LED technology
"With the new, longer-lasting LED technology, we are not only easing the burden on Rödelhausen's budget but also protecting the environment. This is another contribution to climate protection. We would like to thank Westenergie for their quick support and cooperative partnership," explained local Mayor, Klaus Jürgen Caspar.
The municipality expects the conversion to save around 60 percent of its previous energy costs
Westenergie Regional Manager, Florian Schmidt, stated, "We are pleased that we can contribute to improving the infrastructure. The new outdoor lighting ensures increased safety thanks to the optimized lighting quality."
The municipality expects the conversion to save around 60 percent of its previous energy costs. In addition, the use of the latest LED technology will help to significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
LED lights save costs and protect the environment
They ensure safety on streets, squares, and paths. They create a quality of life and contribute to the attractiveness of the local community.
Since LEDs have a much lower energy consumption than conventional light sources, energy can be saved by replacing them. This also means that less CO2 is released.
