Unicrimp, the latest new business to emerge from the successful Scolmore Group of companies, has announced the appointment of Mike Jackson to the position of National Sales Manager.

Unicrimp brings to the electrical contracting market a comprehensive collection of cable management consumables, and Mike will have overall responsibility for building a successful sales channel for the company’s range of Q-Crimp branded products, exclusively through the electrical wholesale market.

Stringent quality control

Mike has more than 25 years of experience in the electrical industry, having started out as an electrician and moving into a variety of sales roles, including the position of sales director for both Thorsman and Appliversal, as well as time spent as head of sales for NICEIC. As the Unicrimp business grows, Mike will head up and develop the sales team, create and oversee the strategy and deliver new product concepts to help build the brand.

The Q-Crimp range includes cable ties, crimp terminals, PVC tape, copper tube terminals, cable clips, and brass and nylon glands – providing everything required to harness cable between the consumer unit and the end accessory.  All products are manufactured under stringent quality control systems and are fully compliant with the very latest industry regulations.
