The National Energy Administration and China Electricity Council jointly held a conference in Beijing to release the 2020 electricity reliability indices for three kinds of power units.

According to the data, with an annual average of 18.23 equivalent unplanned outage hours per unit, Shanghai Electric’s units obviously outperformed its competitors across the three categories.
To be more specific, Shanghai Electric’s 1000MW and 300MW units reached 0.85 hours per unit and 6.58 hours per unit respectively and annually, and its high-pressure heater ranked first by market share and unplanned outage hours in the industry.
Shanghai Electric’s power units are also ahead of their counterparts in terms of recognition. 5.7 of the 10 1000MW units awarded are from Shanghai Electric, accounting for 57%; 6.7 of the 20 600MW units awarded are from Shanghai Electric, accounting for 34%; a total of 15 units from Shanghai Electric were honored, accounting for 30%.
