On August 6, Shanghai Electric (Anhui) Energy Storage Co., Ltd. and the Tinghu District People's Government of Yancheng signed an agreement of strategic cooperation on developing and constructing energy storage and integrated energy projects in Tinghu District.

Since November 2018 when a strategic partnership was established, Shanghai Electric and Yancheng have seen fruitful results in offshore wind power, environmental protection, energy Internet, innovative technologies, and high-end equipment manufacturing, under the national strategy of the Yangtze River Delta Integration.

Large-scale energy storage projects will offer a strong impetus to new energy transformation in Yancheng, and also drive steel and automobile manufacturing locally.

Tinghu District will be shaped into a model town of environmental protection technologies.
