Scolmore, the globally renowned wiring accessories and lighting solutions company, has added another ‘everything you need in one box’ solution, to its widely popular Click Smart range of intelligent wiring accessories, with the launch of a new Click Smart Dimmer.
The company’s new Click Smart Dimmer is designed to overcome the problems that are associated with flickering lights.

The new solution to flickering rotary dimmers from Scolmore, the Click Smart Dimmer, makes use of a retractive switch, instead of a rotary dimmer (wired), which can flicker over time. Everything required is contained in the box, including a dimming module, face plate and one retractive switch module.
The components are compatible with traditional wiring and can be retrofitted to an existing circuit. Users need to simply replace the rotary dimmer with the retractive switch supplied in the box of the Click Smart Dimmer and add the dimming module to the light fitting.

The Click Smart Dimmer dims up to 160W of dimmable LED and there is no need to ever worry about changing the dimmer, even if the LED light source is changed. The new solution also allows for two-way dimming, which is not achievable with traditional rotary dimmers.
The new boxed solution, Click Smart Dimmer, is part of Scolmore’s growing Click Smart wiring accessories range, which has been specially designed to make it quick and relatively cheap to adapt, and update a property, in order to provide extra security, energy savings, enhanced comfort and superior control.
