Scolmore’s Click® Essentials accessories collection comprises a range of products which are vital for a variety of installations, including junction boxes, flush-mounted switches, and socket boxes. The latest addition to the range is a new, non-combustible metal enclosure.

Suitable for use with all Click® fused main switches, the new metal enclosure guarantees ease of installation. Designed to mount flush against the wall, it features pre-cut mounting holes to ensure any compatible switch is aligned and mounted correctly.

Accidental switch operation

Inlet/outlet knockouts are easily removable and knockout holes line up directly with the conductor. Plates all come supplied with 20mm knockouts, making them suitable for use with up to 35mm² cable diameter. A lockable door prevents accidental switch operation and allows access for operation, inspection, testing, fault finding, maintenance, and repair.

The door can also be fully opened to make it easier for the installer to fix the box to the wall and assemble the wiring accessory in the box. A quarter-turn lock with a triangular utility key is provided. An integrated earth bar ensures contact with the earth terminal of any compatible fused mains switch. The metal enclosure has a low smoke and fume painted finish which makes it non-toxic in case of fire and will help prevent corrosion.
