The foundation of ‘Würth Elektronik CBT International GmbH’ marks another milestone in the internationalisation and growth of Würth Elektronik Circuit Board Technology Group.

Since its beginnings in 1971, internationalization has been an important strategic aspect for Würth Elektronik. Over the past five decades, Würth Elektronik Circuit Board Technology has successfully built up three PCB plants in Germany as well as various cooperations with qualified partners in Asia.

Important strategic aspect

As Europe's PCB manufacturer, Würth Elektronik continuously develops and optimizes production processes and is also heavily involved in the research and development of pioneering technologies, manufacturing processes, and materials.

The newly founded business division Würth Elektronik CBT International GmbH focuses on strengthening and growing the international market position particularly in Europe. This foundation is of great importance for Würth Elektronik Circuit Board Technology Group, as it allows to enlarge the local teams and thus set the customers even more in focus. From 1st October, customers in Sweden will be served by the new company, but with familiar contact persons.
