E.ON is expanding its electromobility business internationally and intensifying competition in Norway, the world's leading market for electric vehicles.

From now on E.ON is launching a nationwide product campaign to promote its mobility offerings for private customers, companies, and local authorities.

E.ON's goal is to profit from the rapidly growing market and to establish itself as a leading provider of charging solutions in the Nordic countries.

Offer intelligent solutions

The market entry in Norway is organized by E.ON's Nordic eMobility unit

The aim is to offer intelligent solutions for charging car batteries in private and public spaces and concepts for the conversion of companies' vehicle fleets.

E.ON also plans to offer bundled solutions, where customers buy or rent an electric vehicle including free charging solutions and electricity, together with partners such as car brands, rental- and leasing companies.

Another aspect

Another aspect is safety. Although Norway is the leader in the transition from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles, six out of ten vehicles are charged via household sockets.

This can cause danger for an ordinary house connection. The offers for private customers are intended to meet the demand for safe and more effective and intelligent charging solutions.

The market entry in Norway is organized by E.ON's Nordic eMobility unit based in Copenhagen. In Denmark, E.ON operates the largest public charging network for electric vehicles and has already reached more than one million charges.
