The new energy world offers more and more possibilities. But what do customers get out of it? E.ON will provide the answer during the E-world energy & water trade fair in Essen.

On February 5-7, the company will be presenting news from the world of energy for private and commercial customers as well as for urban planners. The focus will be on intelligent homes, electric mobility, and climate-friendly heating and cooling in cities.

energy management system

Installation and operation are very simple and possible with practically any smartphone or tablet

With E.ON Home, the company is presenting its energy management system for customers with their own homes for the first time. The world first developed by E.ON and Microsoft makes it possible to combine all energy applications from the solar system on the roof to the electric car charging box in the garage in a digital cockpit, to control them holistically and to optimize them using algorithms.

Installation and operation are very simple and possible with practically any smartphone or tablet. At the E.ON booth, guests can watch live on so-called dashboards how much electricity the photovoltaic system in the E.ON Home show house in London is generating, what charge level the car battery has, and how much energy is being drawn from the grid.

E.ON Home

E.ON board member Karsten Wildberger, “More and more people want to use energy at home more sustainably, cheaply, and independently. With E.ON Home, we're offering customers a completely new product that's intuitive and convenient to use.”

The cooperation between E.ON and Microsoft will also be tangible at the E-world fair. The new E.ON Home will be accompanied by a guided tour of both exhibition stands. While E.ON is presenting the product, visitors to Microsoft will be able to find out all the details about the associated cloud technology and data security.

electromobility

When it comes to electromobility, E.ON is particularly interested in companies that operate several vehicles and are planning to convert their fleet to electric propulsion.

From the installation of an intelligent charging infrastructure to the operation of a billing platform and additional offers for comfortable travel, E.ON offers everything from a single source.

Every UNITI buyer in Sweden can charge his car for five years for free with renewable energy from E.ON

Two visitor magnets will make electromobility shine in a special light at the booth. E.ON is exhibiting a 1956 MG MAG Classic sports car converted to an electric drive. In contrast, the UNITI, a brand new small electric vehicle from Sweden, will be on display.

As a partner of UNITI, E.ON Drive is presenting the prototype of the electric city car, which will be launched by a Swedish start-up this year. Every UNITI buyer in Sweden can charge his car for five years for free with renewable energy from E.ON.

Climate-friendly cooling and heating network

Furthermore, ectogrid is ready for the German market. The climate-friendly cooling and heating network was developed by E.ON. It offers environmentally friendly and cost-effective heating and cooling for private and commercial properties, especially when building new city districts.

ectogrid works with extremely low temperatures and is therefore particularly efficient. The new system also integrates renewable energy and recycles waste heat. Karsten Wildberger is convinced, “This new technology will finally help to advance the energy revolution in cities as well.”

Climate protection

Climate protection not only plays a role in new solutions such as ectogrid, but it is also the leitmotif of the entire E.ON booth. “More and more companies and private customers want to implement their own climate protection concepts. We offer them innovative products and solutions in the areas of electricity, heat, and mobility."

"And with E.ON Home, we're offering private customers a completely new product that enables them to use energy in their own homes more sustainably, cost-effectively, and independently. E-world is an excellent platform to recommend us as an innovative energy partner,” says Karsten Wildberger.
