Pt. NR Electric Jakarta (NR Jakarta), the Indonesian subsidiary of NR Electric, has successfully passed the ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 management system certifications.
This milestone is a solid step in implementing NR's high-quality localization strategy in the Indonesian market.
Localization manufacturing strategy
Since its establishment in 2012, NR Jakarta has been committed to serving the local society and creating value for customers.
With the support of NR Nanjing Headquarters, NR Jakarta has actively implemented the localization manufacturing strategy and built the assembly, manufacturing, and test workshop facility with high standards, in reference to the Nanjing IED factory. All these activities and achievements have been widely recognized by the Indonesian market and local customers.
Government regulations & local industry norms
In order to further standardize the operation and management, NR Jakarta started to implement the ISO quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system certification. SGS, an internationally recognized inspection, appraisal, testing and certification agency, is invited to carried out the certification.
They worked together with SGS to standardize the business process in practical work, strengthen internal management, and improve the production quality in accordance with Indonesian government regulations & local industry norms.

SGS expert group audited the enactment of the control system in detail by means of a work site investigation
From March 18 to March 20, the SGS expert team carried out ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standard factory audits in NR Jakarta.
They comprehensively checked the compliance, suitability and continuous effectiveness of the construction of quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system.
With the cooperation of the NR Jakarta team, the SGS expert group audited the implementation of the management system in detail by means of work site investigation, system document inquiry, process record check, and oral inquiry from the employees.
Certifications for NR Jakarta
The SGS audit team finally unanimously passed all three standards implementation certifications for NR Jakarta. The certification is an important milestone for the NR localization strategy.
