On October 29, 2020, the 12MW / 48MWh lead-acid battery energy storage power station of Jinling substation in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, which was supplied by NR, passed all tests and was officially put into operation according to the dispatching instructions. The power station is the first grid side lead-acid battery energy storage power station in China.

Comprehensive network access test
The system has passed the comprehensive network access test organized by the Electric Power Research Institute, including on-site high / low voltage ride through, response speed, grid adaptability, AGC / AVC, primary frequency and voltage regulation, power quality control and black start etc.
The power dynamic response of the system is less than 30ms, and the frequency modulation response accuracy is less than 0.005Hz.

Adjustment support capacity
Energy storage on the side of power grid can reduce the demand for new construction or postpone capacity expansion, which is a way to effectively save the investment of power grid. It can change the investment mode of "source with load" into the mode of "source load interaction".
The completion of the project will provide adjustment support capacity for Huzhou Changxing Power Grid, effectively reduce the peak valley difference of power grid load, enhance the capacity of frequency & voltage regulation, system stability and provide emergency power supply guarantee for users around the power station.
