With XENON charge gridX opens a new era of load management for electric vehicles. From now on, customers will have individual and flexible access to various solutions, depending on their requirements and needs. Thus, load management can be realized at the location without running costs.
The past few months have shown that customers want more flexibility and variety when choosing a suitable load management system. Often, the introduction and selection of the right load management is difficult for customers. The market does not yet offer any suitable options for this. XENON charge is gridX's answer to these requirements. With its modular product structure, gridX now offers every customer a suitable entry into the load management of electric vehicles.
gridX's XENON platform
"With XENON charge, agility and connectivity in load management become reality for the customer. With the different solution models from one provider we are far ahead of the competition," said David Balensiefen, Co-Founder and Managing Director of gridX.
With XENON charge, the gridX portfolio now offers various load management systems that can be selected individually
XENON charge integrates optimally into gridX's XENON platform. The XENON platform, which was already introduced at the beginning of the year, is used for cross-system administration and control of individual systems, depending on the respective solution.
With XENON charge, the gridX portfolio now offers various load management systems that can be selected individually and flexibly expanded.
Static charge
The Static Charge solution offers all the advantages of a static load management system. The parameter setting of the charging stations, such as the prioritization of the charging stations and the selection of individual charging modes, can be done during system setup.
In addition, a phase-exact optimization of the charging infrastructure is guaranteed. Like all solutions from gridX, Static Charge is manufacturer-independent and can be extended at any time with additional charging points.
gridBox ensures robust operation against network failures
By using a local control unit, the gridBox, the operation is robust against network failures. XENON charge does not need to install an additional energy meter to measure building and residual load at the site. Running costs are saved and no time-consuming modifications are necessary during installation.
Static Charge is particularly suitable for smaller sites with few charging points and provides an optimal entry into the world of charging infrastructure. It can be extended to the dynamic charge solution at any time later.
Dynamic charge
The Dynamic Charge solution offers all the advantages of the static charge solution
The Dynamic Charge solution offers all the advantages of the static charge solution. The main difference is the distribution of the power to the charging stations, taking into account residual and building loads. Real-time measurement at the grid connection point ensures that the maximum power available at the site is fully utilized without exceeding the specified limits.
Dynamic Charge thus guarantees constant overload protection at the site. Dynamic Charge is suitable for larger sites with several charging stations. By dynamically limiting the charging power of all connected charging points and wall boxes, expensive load peaks can be easily and reliably avoided.
EV Suite
The EV Suite completes the Static Charge and Dynamic Charge packages with an appropriate user interface for the parameterization and management of the devices and the system. The cloud solution is the optimal tool for charge point operators. EV Suite integrates third-party systems for billing and other services.
Customers are provided with the option of live monitoring to monitor the operating conditions in the charging fleet. It is also possible to integrate other devices such as photovoltaic, battery, or a heat pump into the load management system. Due to its multi-client capability, EV Suite is suitable for very large sites or for cross-site use of the company's own systems.
