LG Electrifies America: Pioneering The Charge In Whole Home Electrification Solutions At Greenbuild 2023

Underscoring its commitment to the U.S. electrification initiative, LG Electronics will be at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo 2023, on September 27–28, 2023, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, in Washington DC, USA, advocating for renewable and sustainable energy by encouraging attendees to adopt electric heat pump solutions.

As the world moves toward decarbonization and reducing reliance on fossil fuels, LG remains steadfast in its commitment to providing advanced solutions that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to efforts toward a cleaner environment.

Throughout the Expo, LG will present a range of whole-home electrification options at Booth #1601, pioneering with LG Air Conditioning Technologies USA’s multitude of heat pump solutions such as the Inverter Heat Pump Water Heater, Multi-Position Air Handler, and Wall-Mounted AC. 

Additionally, LG’s National Business Development Manager, Terry Frisenda, will be presenting 'Embracing the Electric Revolution' on the Expo Innovation Stage on September 27 and 28.

ENERGY STAR® certification

LG’s portfolio of home energy-efficient products also includes the LG Electronics Home 8 Energy Storage System (ESS), capable of efficiently storing and delivering up to 14.4 kWh of usable energy from solar panels or AC-coupled power sources, empowering homeowners to maintain their daily routines when powered by solar panels, providing a cleaner power source than a traditional backup generator.

LG’s ThinQ Energy provides homeowners with control over how and when to use energy in their home through the mobile application. When paired with LG ESS and HVAC technologies, including Heat Pump Water Heaters and Heat Pump Dryers, ThinQ can help power a full array of LG products, such as air-to-water HVAC solutions like the Electric Induction Cooktop and Multi-Position Air Handler, among others.

With this technology, homeowners can optimize energy usage in their homes while also gaining peace of mind with uninterrupted backup power.

LG also participated this week in the 2023 ENERGY STAR Products Partner Meeting in Atlanta, hosted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This year’s meeting focused on the potential for efficient residential electrification in the southeast, along with discussions around the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and how to assist homeowners and businesses in qualifying for local, national, and utility rebates to reduce the upfront cost of sustainable heating and cooling, and other electric modifications.

During the meeting, LG showcased multiple heat-pump-enabled technologies including the LG WashTower, Inverter Heat Pump Water Heater, Electric Induction Cooktop, and HVAC solutions.
