After new trousers were purchased four years ago, new jackets for the members of the Gödenroth Volunteer Fire Department followed this year.
These are worn when the firefighters are not on fire duty, such as when attending courses and seminars, theoretical exercises, or equipment maintenance. This purchase was supported by sponsorship from Westenergie.
Active firefighters in Gödenroth
Fire Chief Armin Heinz and some of the active firefighters in Gödenroth were delighted to receive the jackets to complete their uniform appearance. "It creates a nice image when everyone appears in uniform clothing and at the same time promotes a sense of community," explained Fire Chief Heinz at the handover.
Westenergie regional manager Florian Schmidt added: "At Westenergie, we see ourselves as an active part of the community. Supporting the fire department in Gödenroth reflects our commitment to social responsibility and local solidarity. It is important to us to make a positive contribution to safety and education in our neighborhood through such initiatives."
