In-Charge Energy, an eMobility company offering turnkey commercial EV infrastructure solutions, has moved to an expansive new office in Santa Monica, California. The new HQ offers more electrical capacity for the company’s research and development and was designed by In-Charge Energy's CEO and Co-Founder, Cameron Funk.
“We needed space to accommodate our explosive growth over the past year,” said Cameron Funk, adding “I am pleased to have built something welcoming for our employees and wanted to create a space that makes them happy to spend time here.”
Green innovation
In-Charge operates its incubator to test new charging hardware for fleets including multiple AC chargers
Located at 1433 Fifth Street in Santa Monica, the In-Charge Energy headquarters is in the proverbial driver’s seat of green innovation. The city recently launched the world’s first zero-emissions delivery zone in the very neighborhood of this office.
Additionally, Santa Monica recently approved the largest urban Tesla Supercharger site and has public fast charging options in development from EVgo. In-Charge operates its own incubator to test new charging hardware for fleets including multiple AC chargers and fast DC charging.
Features of new office
The new office features multiple communal workspaces. Here, team members can enjoy a hot coffee in the morning or a cold beer for the occasional late night that start-up work requires.
To comply with social distancing regulations, team members are currently working on a rotating schedule if they choose to come into the office. These clear-walled cubicles offer protection while still allowing for socializing and great natural light.
