E.ON is using the growing product range and rising sales figures to gear its customer service and interaction with the trades to the future.

The energy company is standardizing, digitizing, and automating installation and maintenance processes for photovoltaic, heating, energy storage, smart home, and electric car charging products. To this end, E.ON and technical service provider Guidion Nederland founded Home.ON.

Local craft businesses

The field service specialist successfully operates a dense network of independent, local craft businesses in the Netherlands, which work closely with the headquarters in Amsterdam via digital communication. Craftsmen are freed from paperwork. At the same time, customers benefit from more transparent communication and high service quality.

At the same time, customers benefit from more transparent communication and high service quality

Guidion and E.ON are now bringing this concept to Germany. For example, if someone buys a new gas condensing boiler for his single-family home from E.ON, he will not only receive product advice but also installation advice. In Home.ON's applications, customers can define their preferred dates, track every step and provide feedback on the craftsmanship. With Home.ON's digital applications, E.ON wants to be even closer to its customers.

Guaranteed payment security

For E.ON, the focus is on attractiveness for craft businesses and quality assurance. The close and proven cooperation with local craft enterprises will be continued on the platform.

E.ON is focusing on smaller, independent craft businesses and is focusing in particular on young master craftsmen who want to set up their own business and take advantage of the opportunities offered by digitization right from the start. The master craftsman companies benefit from guaranteed payment security as well as modern paperless and automatic order processing.

We invite the trades to grow with us by offering our customers E.ON service quality at home"

With Home.ON, we are creating added value for our trade partners. We invite the trades to grow with us by offering our customers E.ON service quality at home. At the same time, the cooperation with Guidion creates excellent conditions for continued strong growth in the area of products and services,” says Frank Meyer, Head of B2C Solutions, E-Mobility & Innovation at E.ON.

High-quality work

Home.ON GmbH is listed as a specialist business in the register of tradespeople held by the Sanitation and Heating Systems Guild in Aachen.

The managing director of Aachen’s Chamber of Crafts & Trades, Peter Deckers, welcomes the establishment of Home.ON in Aachen: “The intended collaboration with professional tradespeople in the region in the concept of Home.ON can help to combine the high-quality work of German tradespeople with increasingly digitalized order handling processes. I am therefore delighted that such high-profile companies as E.ON and Guidion have decided on Aachen as a base.”
