GreenEnergy sources are a key element of the new Global EnergyTransition. Very interesting initiative is currently being implemented in the United States - the Solar United Neighbors community. In the U.S. state of Maryland, the Solar United Neighbors initiative is implementing an interesting new business practice in the field of creating energy communities.
Members of an energy 'neighborhood' can invest in an existing solar power plant project on a cost-sharing basis or start a new project by teaming up with their neighbors. Each month, participants receive money from solar consumers according to their share of the project. Every month, users receive a credit on their electricity bill for the energy produced by their share.
TEL North America takes part in these projects as a supplier of automatic circuit reclosers for solar grid connection system. One of these projects – Snow Hill. Maryland.
