GlobalLogic Inc., a Hitachi Group company and major in digital engineering, has announced a multi-year strategic partnership with N.S. International, Ltd., a globally renowned supplier of information display products for automobiles.

This partnership will grow GlobalLogic’s operations in Mexico to include automotive capabilities, offering a nearshore option for North American automotive companies, and will focus on bringing innovation and supporting N.S. International, Ltd. with software talent in the region.

With the increasing requirements for software-defined components in the automotive industry, the demand for advanced software talent continues to grow.

According to McKinsey, there is a shift in automotive companies' mandates from focusing on building products to focusing on building new businesses that require new skill sets, such as software engineering, due to the accelerated changes in the automotive ecosystem. 

In order to meet the evolving industry needs, GlobalLogic is helping customers get access to critical software talent across the globe.

GlobalLogic building a dedicated engineering center

Through this partnership, GlobalLogic is building a dedicated engineering center for N.S. International, Ltd., known to the industry as NSI, in Guadalajara, Mexico as part of an engineering insourcing and supplier consolidation initiative.

This team of GlobalLogic engineers will work on the development of automotive instrument clusters and head-up displays, as well as on innovation projects for NSI.

GlobalLogic will leverage the booming tech talent market in Guadalajara to expand its software engineering talent and support this partnership, thereby further strengthening the company’s established operations in the country.
