Gephart Electric was recently awarded the Southland Casino Racing project in West Memphis, Arkansas, USA. This project is an expansion to the existing casino and dog track and includes a large state-of-the-art gaming floor addition, an expanded parking lot and site improvements, a new parking garage, multiple restaurant venues, and a 22-story hotel tower with 300 guestrooms featuring a 200 ft. high façade light show visible from downtown Memphis across the Mississippi River.

Gephart Electric are currently engaged in early-participation design-assist preconstruction activities and site preparation for the project.

Relationship with SOSH Architects

This award builds upon our 25-year relationship with Construction Manager Roy Anderson Corp. (a Tutor Perini Company), and the 20-year relationship with SOSH Architects. This team successfully completed the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort project in D’Iberville, MS in 2015.

They are excited to build again with the same core group, which also includes M/E Engineers. This project also has to work alongside Delaware North Companies (DNC), which is one of the largest hospitality developers in the United States; also adds to their long history of major projects in the Gaming and Hospitality market.
