Charging and Discharging 

When an EV battery is charged, electrical energy is stored in the battery cells. When the battery is discharged, that stored energy is released to power the electric motor.

The charging and discharging process is controlled by a battery management system (BMS), which regulates the flow of energy into and out of the battery pack. 

Range and Capacity 

The range and capacity of an EV battery depend on several factors, including the size of the battery pack, the efficiency of the electric motor, and driving conditions.

Most EVs have a range of between 100 and 300 miles on a single charge, although this can vary depending on the specific model and driving conditions. The capacity of the battery pack is measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh), with larger battery packs generally offering greater range and capacity.
