Exell Power Services has successfully completed the installation of their newly manufactured dual-rated 25/15kV switchgear at a large commercial tower in downtown Vancouver. The switchgear has replaced the existing leaking minimum-oil circuit breakers with new medium-voltage switches and Tavrida vacuum circuit breakers protected by SEL-751A relays.

The switchgear is currently operating at 12.47 kV fed from an existing DRV service, but is ready for the future conversion to 25 kV and use as the service entrance equipment.
