The highly connected world of energy offers private customers, companies, and municipalities completely new opportunities for climate neutrality. During the E-world trade fair from 11 to 13 February in Essen, E.ON will present the potential of this connection, especially for climate protection.

Throughout the event, there will be lectures by renowned speakers and panel discussions at the E.ON stand. E.ON’s focus is on making climate protection possible without giving up the standard of living and comfort to which we are accustomed.

clean and sustainable energy

E.ON supports both individual and sustainable solutions to optimize energy costs and achieve CO2 targets"

Over the next decade, every customer, every company, and every city should switch to clean and sustainable energy. This conversion is a challenge, especially for companies and cities."

"E.ON supports both individual and sustainable solutions to optimize energy costs, increase competitiveness and achieve CO2 targets," says E.ON Board Member Karsten Wildberger.

electric mobility

"The E-world trade fair offers the ideal platform to present our latest innovations and to talk to our customers." The visual focus at the E.ON stand will be on the topic of electric mobility.

A special attraction will be the new, fully electric Volkswagen model ID.3, which symbolizes the partnership between E.ON and Volkswagen Group Components. Both companies will present a brand-new solution for ultra-fast charging of electric cars at the fair.

E.ON Home

The system learns the habits of its owners and develops into a virtual assistant

Private customers can experience the new app, E.ON Home. It brings transparency, control, and automation to houses and apartments. Where previously different technologies in the household had to be controlled and synchronized with several apps, customers can monitor and control their energy consumption with a single dashboard.

E.ON Home brings everything together and can do much more. Over time, the system learns the habits of its owners and develops into a virtual assistant. For example, it learns when residents are expected to come home and adjusts room temperatures accordingly.

digitization

With the market launch of digital metering for customers with an annual consumption of more than 6,000 kilowatt hours, E.ON is also setting a focus on digitization in E-world. By 2032, E.ON will install about 2.4 million intelligent metering systems at its customers' premises.

This will enable businesses and private households to use renewable energies even more efficiently and in a climate-conscious manner. E.ON will use smart meter technology to offer customers energy management solutions and real-time applications across all its divisions.
