ECSI's VP and General Manager, Matt Myers, recently announced the promotion of Chris Weis to Lead Designer. Chris has always been passionate about design and the feeling he gets when he sees his creations on paper come to life. He also appreciates that design can be used to help businesses, communities, and individuals.

Prior roles of Chris

Chris began with ECSI in October 2022. As an enthusiast of the arts, he chose the company after he saw the way ECSI and Hunt worked together to install lighting and sound during a theater project. He decided that working with ECSI would be a good way to continue his involvement in the arts. In his new position, Chris will establish standards to enhance design flow and address complex questions arising from various systems and their field installations. He will also oversee drawing reviews and collaborate with colleagues to create precise shop drawings on-site.

Chris is eager to streamline processes and collaborate with other departments while continuing to embrace his love of design. They can’t wait to see what he does in his new role! Congratulations, Chris!
