Mario Pieper will become Senior Vice President of E.ON Digital Technology GmbH as of November 1, 2021, and will report directly to Victoria Ossadnik, E.ON SE Board Member for Digital.

As Senior Vice President for Digital Empowerment, Mario Pieper will be responsible for supporting all leaders and employees on their digitalization journey and measuring organizational progress.

Measuring organizational progress

Before joining E.ON Mario Pieper took on the position of Chief Digital Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Digital Transition at BSH Hausgeräte GmbH in 2014 and became the Digital Business Unit Head in 2018.

Mario Pieper started his career in 1999 as a strategy consultancy at Accenture

After graduating in Business and Economics at the University of Münster, Mario Pieper started his career in 1999 as a strategy consultancy at Accenture.

In 2002, he moved on to Deutsche Telekom, where he held various positions within Group Strategy as well as in operational management of Telekom Deutschland. In his latest role, he was the Senior Vice President focusing on Digital Transformation.

Smart Home environment

In addition, Mario Pieper co-founded a start-up in the Smart Home environment.

Together with Mario we form a strong, experienced management team to drive the success of E.ON and our ambition in digitalization.”
