More and more businesses are recognizing climate change as a serious societal problem"

Anjana Sharma, Head of Sustainability for India at DNV, said, “More and more businesses are recognizing climate change as a serious societal problem, and that to take part in the solution they need to showcase strong efforts around decarbonization and sustainability as a whole. We expect an increasing number of businesses across the world to engage in GHG emissions reduction projects, and we are proud to be awarded GCC’s accreditation so we can support them on this important journey.”

Other corporate responsibility

Geir Fuglerud said, “As we broaden the scope of our climate change services to address increasing demand, being accredited by GCC will establish trust and empower us to support a wider range of companies committed to ambitious decarbonization initiatives.”

With the raft of upcoming regulations mandating organizations to establish and disclose climate-positive actions, such as the reduction of GHG emissions and other corporate responsibility activities throughout their supply chains, DNV is well-positioned to be the trusted partner for businesses requiring sustainability assurance services worldwide, upheld to the highest standards.”

DNV is also accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) against ISO 14065 and ISO 17029 to carry out validation and verification of GHG emission reduction projects based on ISO 14064-2 and the Voluntary Carbon Scheme (VCS).
