Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. and S.L. Development Construction Corporation secured a submarine power transmission project in the Philippines, for a total of approximately 4.3 billion in yen. The project was awarded by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, a public corporation in charge of operating, maintaining, and developing the Philippines’ state-owned power grid.
