Dongfang Electric Corporation - DEC has won the bid to supply a turbine generator unit for the 300 MW compressed air energy storage power plant in China's Hubei province. When completed, this compressed air energy storage power plant is projected to produce around 500 GWh of green energy per year. It will play an important role in sustainable development and industry upgrading in Hubei province.
Recently, DEC has signed a contract for the supply of a complete set of equipment, namely the 1×135MW steam turbine island/package with Kerinci Captive Power Plant (expansion). The Kerinci Captive Power Plant is located in Kerinci, Riau, Indonesia.
