The President of Hunt Electric, John Axelson, recently announced the role of the company’s Corporate Safety Director has been filled by Chris Rollins. Chris was previously working as the National Project Safety Manager at Hunt Electric.

Coming up through the trades originally, Chris Rollins had a great understanding of what it was like being assigned and performing tasks in less than ideal environments.

Extensive industry experience

Hunt was an easy choice for me. Prior to working at Hunt, I have worked on projects that Hunt was a part of"

When he first started his construction career, Chris Rollins felt like the priority was to be productive and that working safely was expected, but not always the encouraged method. This is how he became interested in transitioning his career over to safety.

Chris Rollins said, “Hunt was an easy choice for me. Prior to working at Hunt, I have worked on projects that Hunt was a part of. Everything that I witnessed was the type of situation you would want to be in.

Professional, organized, and safe work environment

Chris Rollins feels that the employees at Hunt Electric are professional, organized, and safe. Interactions with the Hunt management team proved the same and it was refreshing to see a contractor that didn’t put production before safety.

Congratulations Chris Rollins, on his new position as the Corporate Safety Director at Hunt Electric.
