Reyes was appointed by CSE’s executive leadership team to assume the former position of Robert Hughes, who was named company President late last month.

In his new role, Chris Reyes will oversee Canyon State Electric’s construction operations, VDC/BIM services, prefabrication shop, maintenance contracts, and estimating department. CSE Technologies, Canyon State Electric’s low voltage, fire alarm, and security branch will continue to report to Reyes.

Leading the start-up

His business development strategies have expanded CSE’s services and increased sales opportunities

In his time as Canyon State Electric’s Director of Special Systems, Chris Reyes has led the start-up CSE Technologies and equipped the company to become the only electrical contractor offering Honeywell’s Notifier product line as an engineered systems distributor.

His business development strategies have expanded CSE’s services and increased sales opportunities in all sectors of the organization.

New Vice President of Operations appointed

I am proud to have been chosen for this key role,” said Chris Reyes, adding “Canyon State Electric has an energetic and well-rounded group of professionals. My focus is the development of the team and the projects we acquire. I look forward to the challenges of this new role and contributing to CSE’s continued success.

Robert Hughes stated, “Chris has continued to show his technical and business acumen year after year by establishing our CSE Technologies special systems division. I’m certain he will now take all departments to the next level to ensure we strengthen trust with our clients, develop our team members’ careers, and become the most sought-after electrical contractor in Arizona.”

Continue the success

In his first year as Vice President of Operations, Chris Reyes plans to continue the success laid out by Hughes and work with partners within the company to expand the footprint of Canyon State Electric projects throughout Arizona. He will assume his new role effective immediately.
