Axpo CFO and Executive Board member Joris Gröflin, 46, will step down from his roles by the end of January 2024 at the latest. The search for a successor will begin immediately.          

Mr Gröflin will be leaving Axpo to take on a new role outside the business, and is expected to depart by the end of January 2024 at the latest. Axpo’s Board of Directors and Executive Board want to thank him for his outstanding contribution to the company’s success and wish him all the best for the future.

Great strategic foresight

Axpo CEO Christoph Brand said: “I’m sorry to see Joris leave but grateful for his outstanding dedication to the successful further development of our business.”

With his departure, we are losing not just an excellent chief financial officer but also a colleague with great strategic foresight and determination. We will begin the process of finding a successor immediately.”
