Crouse-Hinds series EBM Explosion-proof Disconnect Switches are used to disconnect motors, lighting and other circuits in locations made hazardous by the presence of flammable gases or vapours or ignitable dusts. Certified for use in Class I and Class II hazardous areas, EBM disconnect switches are also NEMA 4X rated for use indoors or outdoors in damp, wet and dirty locations where frequent washdowns, heavy rain or water spray is prevalent.
