Chugach Electric Association is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska's largest city. Anchorage itself sits at the base of the Chugach Mountains. The word "Chugach" comes from an Alaska Native name, which the Russians recorded as "Chugatz" or "Tchougatskoi." Chugach is Alaska's largest electric utility, providing power to over 92,000 members from Anchorage to the northern Kenai Peninsula & from Whittier to Tyonek.

Santa Clara has a long tradition of quality public services and a well-maintained infrastructure. The City has owned and operated its own electric, water and sewer utilities for over a century.

Wiregrass Electric Cooperative (WEC) is committed to providing quality electrical service as well as improving the quality of life of its consumers through a variety of programs and services available to all consumers. WEC tackled the massive job of bringing electricity to rural areas of Southeast Alabama (the Wiregrass) more than half a century ago.
