Trey Thomas, President and Chief Operations Officer with Hill Electric, recently received the prestigious designation of Top 20 Under 40 from the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce.
Thomas has over a decade of experience with the Hill Electric team, starting as an Estimator and Project Manager and progressing through the company as a Vice President and as part of the leadership team. His vision and dedication have advanced Hill Electric to where it is, an industrial electrical contractor serving the region in a variety of businesses.

35 years of service
Vance Cooper, one of the most tenured employees at Hill Electric with 35 years of service describes Thomas as intelligent, one that operates with high integrity, and extremely dedicated. He elaborated, “He goes into all situations with composure.”
Another Hill Electric team member said, “Recently, Trey got into the trenches with us, no pun intended to dig a ditch for the new conduit being prepared for a client’s new facility.”
Upstate community
However, Thomas’s impact can be felt far wider than simply his work with Hill Electric; he is also involved with the Upstate community, serving as a board member for numerous organizations including Junior Leadership of Anderson, the Anderson Chamber of Commerce, the Salvation Army, the Anderson Area YMCA, and the ANMED Health Foundation.
He is also active at his church, First Presbyterian Church of Anderson where he serves as an elder. Additionally, he’s an Eagle Scout, a title that requires hard work, service, and determination. Thomas graduated from Clemson University with an Electrical Engineering Bachelor of Science degree in 2010.
