The £10m refurbishment of the Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport - the North’s biggest hotel investment programme - is currently underway and Scolmore Group’s wiring accessories have been specified for the newly renovated Business Class Bedrooms.

The iconic hotel, which originally opened in 1998, will be radically transformed over three phases. During the first and largest phase, all 120 of the Business Class Bedrooms and Suites have been fitted out with products from Scolmore’s Deco decorative metal wiring accessories range.

Switches; socket power outlets; control switches; TV, telephone, and data sockets; plus new media plates have all been supplied in a stainless steel finish to meet the brief for a stylish, contemporary look in keeping with the requirements of the top-end hospitality industry.

Chris Douglas of Castle Building Services, the contractor working on the project, says; “It was the breadth of products and choice of finishes, coupled with highly competitive pricing that attracted us to Scolmore. Having selected the Deco range for its high specification and high quality, we fitted out a sample room to demonstrate the overall look that could be achieved and the client approved it straightaway.”
