If users have a relationship with Hill Electric, they will almost certainly talk to or work with Mike, President, or Trey, Vice President. They are industrial estimators and often assist in the planning phase of projects as well.

And, of course, they guide the vision and direction of an organization. Getting to know the other members of a partnership is important.

Mike Davis, President

Mike is an SC Mechanical Contractor License Qualifier, and he’s been with Hill since 1994. In that time, he has learned nearly every aspect of the business. Mike has been involved with conceptual design, budgeting, design engineering, and contract installation on multiple +$2M projects.

He has done significant work to create and maintain corporate alignment while tackling the challenges of growing such a long-standing company. He is invested in the continuity of Hill Electric and makes decisions around the long term.

Responsibility

Mike enjoys outdoor activities and hands-on projects that offer the instant gratification

Mike is also very involved in Hill projects, regularly working in project management, business development, budgeting/estimating, design and planning, and coordination with other trades.

When he’s not at work, Mike enjoys outdoor activities and hands-on projects that offer the instant gratification that’s so seldom available in the long-term work at Hill.

Trey Thomas, Vice President

Trey has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, and he’s a Certified Installer by Panduit, Commscope/TE, and Ortronics. He joined Hill in 2010 as an estimator and project manager and continues to assist with those responsibilities even as Vice President.

He’s also heavily involved in customer relationships, and like Mike, makes decisions with an eye toward Hill’s values and long-term success. Outside of work, Trey enjoys golf and is a professional Charity Golf Tournament Player. He’s also a member of the Anderson Chamber of Commerce’s Regents Board and Junior Leadership Anderson Board.
