On its way to global expansion, the Munich-based waste heat company Orcan Energy is strengthening its management team: Marcus Jentsch (54) is to become Orcan Energy's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
With him, the technology pioneer in the field of waste heat solutions gains an experienced financial expert who will be responsible for the areas of finance, controlling, taxes, and legal affairs. With his expertise in the field of cleantech and renewable energies, he will be primarily supporting Orcan Energy's growth and global expansion.
Vast Industry Experience
Marcus Jentsch can draw on a wide range of management and capital market experience - including IPOs, capital increases, share placements, and mergers and acquisitions. The economics graduate began his career in investment banking at UBS and Lazard.
Marcus Jentsch performed the role of CFO at the Munich-based start-up Jolt Energy
He then moved to the energy industry, where he assumed a number of CFO positions, including the listed energy supplier MVV Energie AG in Mannheim and the international wind and solar park provider Juwi AG in Wörrstadt, where he successfully managed the restructuring and turnaround of the group as CFO. Most recently, Marcus Jentsch performed the role of CFO at the Munich-based start-up Jolt Energy.
